Baroque Jewellery is a boutique jewellery studio in Martin Place, in the Sydney CBD, founded in 2014 by Lily SY Lee and built around 28 years of international jewellery experience spanning Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, New York and Australia. The studio's work goes beyond selling natural gemstones and designing bespoke pieces. It runs a genuine repair and restoration practice: jewellery cleaning to restore brilliance to tired pieces, repair and restoration work described as preserving clients' most treasured items, redesign and remodelling that turns old jewellery into something new, and pearl and bead restringing to keep necklaces, bracelets and strands secure and wearable. Lily personally guides much of this work, drawing on decades spent selecting gemstones and understanding how a piece should be cared for over its lifetime rather than just at the point of sale.
