Berkshire Clockworks is a clock repair specialist serving New York City as well as New England, with pickup and drop-off available in the city. Rather than a storefront, it operates as a mobile service that comes to where the clock lives. The focus is squarely on mechanical clocks: complete servicing, repair, restoration, and maintenance, including a 'wipe and oil' service that cleans and lubricates the movement to keep a clock running strong. House calls are offered to set up and adjust tall-case clocks, the large free-standing floor clocks that need to be leveled and regulated in place. The specialty is antique European and American mantel, wall, and free-standing (grandfather) clocks.
